CorvexsDigital Help & FAQ

Choose an image, set a useful target, and check the result before using it.

1. Choose a supported image

Use Choose image or drag a file into the image studio. Choose one image for individual settings and comparison, or select up to 20 images for the batch workspace. Each input is limited to 20 MB and 40 megapixels. JPG, PNG, WebP and browser-supported AVIF are accepted. Unsupported or damaged files produce an error. HEIC/HEIF, GIF, SVG, and PDF can also be imported. Choose and load a page for a multipage PDF; its export is an image, not a complete PDF.

2. Set the target and format

Choose a preset or enter a custom target from 20 to 10,000 KB. Choose No limit to export using your selected quality without a byte target. CorvexsDigital uses decimal KB: 1 KB equals 1,000 bytes.

Select a format that your destination accepts. JPG places transparent areas on white. PNG and supported WebP can retain transparency. Animated input exports as a still image.

3. Choose quality and dimensions

For JPG, WebP and browser-supported AVIF, quality ranges from 10% to 95%. In target mode, it is the maximum quality: the tool may choose a lower value to fit. PNG ignores quality and disables the slider.

Maximum width is a cap from 1 to 8,192 pixels. Aspect ratio is preserved and images are never enlarged. The optional dimension reduction can shrink further to meet a target. It does not enforce your destination’s minimum dimensions.

4. Inspect and download

Press Compress image and wait for the result. Read the actual bytes and dimensions and compare the previews. The interface reports if the target was missed or if the output is larger than the input.

Download saves a separate optimized copy. Your original remains unchanged. On a phone, look in the browser or device’s Downloads location and ensure your next upload selects that copy.

Batch compression and ZIP downloads

Select up to 20 images together, then choose an output format, quality and maximum width. Batch processing works through the files one at a time on your device. PNG ignores quality; AVIF decoding and encoding depend on browser support.

The batch workspace does not provide a target-KB control. Use a single image when you need a byte target. Check each result size before downloading individual images or preparing a ZIP. PDF batches use the first page only.

Why did the target fail?

Some combinations of format, dimensions, and detail do not fit a requested byte limit. Allow smaller dimensions, choose another accepted format, or increase the limit. If dimensions must be preserved, a very small target may be impossible.

Why is the image larger after conversion?

Re-encoding or choosing a different format can increase bytes. This is especially possible when the source was already efficient or when converting photographic content to PNG. Read the actual result instead of assuming every conversion is a reduction.

Does compression remove private information?

The file-processing workflow is local, but CorvexsDigital is not a redaction or certified metadata-sanitization tool. Visible private details remain in the pixels. Inspect the final file and use a dedicated workflow when sensitive information must be removed.

Compressing a video

Open Video tools from the main navigation and choose an MP4, WebM, MOV, or M4V that your browser can play. Choose a resolution, quality preset, and an available output format. Audio is included unless you select Remove audio. Press Compress video, keep the tab visible, and allow approximately the duration of the clip.

Use videos up to 100 MB, 5 minutes, and 4K input. Output is up to 30 frames per second and does not retain embedded subtitles, extra audio tracks, HDR, or source metadata. Review both picture and sound in the result before downloading or sharing. A compressed download is offered only if the output is smaller. If the tool cannot produce a smaller copy, keep the original or try a lower preset. A smaller copy can still fail a destination’s format or quality requirements.
